Review: Dawn of The Planets of The Apes

So here I am, trying to clean up the cobwebs on my blog.

Yesterday was an awesome day as I have won 2 tickets to watch Dawn of The Planets of The Apes (OKAY I'm GONNA SHORTEN IT TO DPA since writting the whole thing will be troublesome) from Nuffnang! YAY!

Thank You
NUFFNANG!

Synopsis (NOT GONNA SAY THE WHOLE THING):
So this story is about Caesar from the previous sequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes who is now living in a forest whereas the humans are seen to be in a pretty bad shape after a devastating virus from the Apes which were created in a laboratory spread like wild fire.
Caesar who was once brought up by humans have an affectionate side for humans and he is also siding the apes at the same time. Being the leader of the Apes, he tries to create a culture whereby they live in harmony but however this will not last that long.

Caesar

A faction of the humans living in a nearby town (pretty torn down) were almost out of power. They send their mans into the forest to get the hydro generator working. This is where humans and apes begin to get into contact.

Malcolm - The main human character

This will then slowly develop the relationship between them. Of course nothing will go as smooth since we are talking about a movie directed by Matt Reeves. Conflicts will arise when Koba takes things into his own hands.

Review:

The great thing about this movie is that the director is able to showcase the development of the characters and their relationship in detail. It's like we can almost put ourselves into their shoes easily and understand their thoughts and feelings at that very moment.
We begin to understand the characters and the reason for every action.
It was indeed a great movie and definitely worth watching.

Adventure I Would Like To Go On With My Pet!

"I have a dream"
Yes most of you might have heard before this quote but exactly from whom?
Well it is no other than Martin Luther King, Jr.

However my dreams is not something like what he was talking about but no harm in using that quote. Well my dream was to go out on an adventure with my pet(I DON'T HAVE ONE YET).
Since my childhood time, I had a dream about an adventure which I wish I could fulfill when I'm older, that is

TO TRAVEL ACROSS THE WORLD IN A SHIP

Yes, and of course with my puppy.

Puppy? Yeah, of course puppy since they are the most cutest thing and it has those innocent look. Cat might be a bit wild, for example

So don't be fooled by the cats look, they can bite you anytime. Scary...

Back to my adventure of course,
I surely would like to travel across the world in a ship as the sea itself is one grace God has given to us for us to cherish.

As we travel across those ocean, we can see all kind of cute or lovely sea creatures like the dolphins, whales and so forth.

All this beauty of the nature can be found in the ocean too and not just on the surface of the land.

Travelling across the world in a ship also gives us this "KICK" where you just can't wait to discover what awaits us as we travel across the ocean. A new place, a new island, a new species on the ocean, or something weird in a new island like those you see in those movies.
Haha, maybe I might get into the Bermuda triangle too? Who knows, then I can be like a giant in the city of small people

This might be my travel and not gulliver's travel
As the time spent will travelling in a ship might be way too long, it also gives me the time to get to know my puppy even more. Such a cute puppy, tell me who will get bored on a ship?

So, now my another dream would be to get 2 tickets to watch The Adventures of TinTin(3D) by Nuffnang thanks to United International Pictures Malaysia!

Do pay a visit to this page, and to those of you who have not join, do join this contest!

TLC Promise Me - For the Children of Rumah Aman

TLC Promise Me - For the Children of Rumah Aman is a campaign organised by Nuffnang, Churp Churp and Milkadeal to raise RM 20000 together for Rumah Aman, which needs a replacement for their worn-out, 15-year-old electricity wiring and lightning breaker system as part of the Truly Loving Company's Promise Me campaign.

So I believe as a Nuffnanger user, we should all try to help out, this is a charity thing. I have probably received a lot of free tickets, lol but what is this. Just donate people

You should see some message like on the screenshot if you successfully made a donation

Ok if you are not a Nuffnanger, Churpie user or whatever, you can still donate. No running away!!!

For those of you who still plan to get something back as a memory for donating, try to purchase the Churp Churp plushy toy which is absolutely adorable, looks something like an Angry Bird

Cute right?

Review : Pirates of The Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides

On the 17th of May 2011, I managed to won 2 tickets to watch

Pirates of The Caribbean 4 : On Stranger Tides (3D)
from
Nuffnang

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

The official release date for Malaysia is on the 19th of May 2011

You might want to ask how was the movie, so here is the thing

Go to IMDB
If you realised, the rating for this show according to them is 8.1 as for now, well are you wondering whether this movie deserves the high rating.

To me absolutely
yes!

The movie was fantastic

Jack and Blackbeard

Jack Sparrow(Johnny Depp) is as usual, the funny Captain!
Hahaha you can seriously laugh the whole day thinking back of the movie.

Jack Sparrow

Blackbeard is so darn evil, grrr.... still they make him looks so cool in someway
The part where he first appear gives everyone the impression that he is untouchable

He's commanding those ropes

Here's a line from the movie
When Jack left Angelica deserted at an island, he told her this
"If you had a sister and a dog, I would choose the dog"
Hahahaha (that is the line if I can recall back)

Angelica

Then of course, we are missing out the mermaid. Lets just say they choose a correct person for that role.
Syrena (Astrid Berges-Frisbey)
The Mermaid

She is indeed absolutely pretty!!! OMG!!!!

Nice right?

Well so what do you think of it?
I think it is worth watching it

Until Den
~DraGeXiuS~

I’m a Pirate, Take Me To Stranger Tides

Pirates of the Caribbean 4

Yes people once again Nuffnang is having another awesome contest (to be exact, Nuffnang held a lot of contest which I didn't join, lolx)

I am sure most of us might have dream before of becoming a pirate when we were small, thinking of taking out those swords and swinging with a rope and doing some pirates action, of course

NOT CAPTAIN HOOK!
Captain Hook Royal Sickle Images

Maybe this pirate perhaps?

Ok so lets get to the point, what is just go great about being a pirate? People often see pirates in the perspective of being a thief in the sea, well I see it in a different way. There is 3 reasons why being a pirate is probably a good thing afterall

1) Explore the Sea

Yes, as most of us have study in our history, pirates are the people who are well verse when in comes to the sea. They are basically the king of the sea.
So becoming a pirate gives us the opportunity to see the blue world where we can enjoy the beauty of the sea.

2) A whole lot of adventure

Being a pirate ain't that boring, you can get to travel a whole lot of place and the fun comes in when you seek for treasure, you just wouldn't know what might happen and there comes the fun of it. A true adventure I would call it.

For those of you who don't believe in treasure, well lets just say you can travel to new places by sea and meet new places and people. Still a positive thing

3) Teamwork

What is the use of a ship and a captain if there is no teamwork? Can there be success? Well of course not. Handling a big ship requires a lot of people and of course TEAMWORK. Being a pirate teaches us what the spirit of teamwork is.

Well so PIRATES ain't that bad huh?
Humans are given eyes and brains to analyze things. Everyone look in the world in a different perspective. It is up to us believe what we want to believe and that no one can stop us from that

So NUFFNANGERS, hope you all will shout "HAI YAI CAPTAIN"(spongebob version)

Thanks Nuffnang and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Malaysia
for organising this contest :D

Review : World Invasion : Battle of Los Angeles

After attending the premiere screening of World Invasion : Battle on Los Angeles from Nuffnang, I'm going to write a small review on this movie.

For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world – Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world’s great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It’s up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they’ve ever encountered before.

This guy is the main character of this movie

Ok the movie is kinda eye pain if you watch kinda near to the screen in the beginning and somewhere after that since the video is taken in such a way that it shakes too much.
Yup, back seat is so advisable
The movie story-line well ok only.
The effects are of course very nice such as the weapons used and of course it gives you the feeling that they are real soldiers and in a war with aliens.

Strike package comin in

Comes to think of it, aliens with the heart at right. Okay I'm not gonna tell more about the aliens since it will not be fun for you anymore.

The movie is kinda nice to watch. Guess what, one of my favourite singer is acting in that movie.
It is Ne-Yo!!!! YAY!!!!
But one thing, I didn't realise it was him throughout the movie. LOL!!!

If you asked me how many times the four letter word is used, only one time. This is consider very good already as some movies might go cursing throughout the whole movie. Believe me in this.

Saving citizens

Okay, go watch the movie

Sucker Punch - Nuffnang Result

Yes, I've won the sucker punch ticket from Nuffnang again including The World Invasion : Battle of Los Angeles which I went for at Tropicana City Mall.

However this time, I'll not be able to go and watch Sucker Punch since my brother's right leg got fractured.
So sad for him and of course me since I spent a lot of time doing that sucker punch blog post.
Thanks Nuffnang for giving me the opportunity but I'll not be able to come this time.

How Do You Analyse Your Webpage or Blog?

Well some of us have our very own webpage with our own domain. Oo and some of us have our own blog since it is free and of course for several other reasons.

Now, I am sure most of us would like to know how many people are actually reading our blog or webpage and what is the statistic. Right?
That's absolutely true.

For my blog, I have about 3 different analyser for my blog.

1) Google Analytic

Very detailed. Don't ask why

I would say that google analytic offer a very good report/summary for your webpages and blog. What you need is a google acount, add your webpage into Google Analytic and get those codes provided and put it into ur webpage code

2) Nuffnang
Well, nuffnang also has its own smaller analytic which I would say is more easier for people to understand.

Looks awesome in someway to me

This is mostly for nuffnangers to use. It tells which nuffnanger has recently visited the blog or webpage. I would say this might come in handy

3) Feedjit Live Traffic

I have to admit that this is awesome. It tells you from where a person is visiting your blog and sometimes from where it came across your blog or how it left your blog via another blog.
That is of course the definition of awesome for here
It's at the right side frame of the blog

Of course this are not the only method of tracking your webpage visitors. There are many more other professional websites which you might think of using it.

Occasionally you might want to give a try to other webpage tracking or analytical tool such as

or

Conclusion : If you want a very detailed analytical tool, try Google Analytics. It surely supplies you with the necessary information

I’ve Got the Power with Sucker Punch

Sucker Punch

THANK YOU NUFFNANG
FOR ORGANISING THIS CONTEST :D

Synopsis as from Nuffnang
Close your eyes. Open your mind. You will be unprepared. “Sucker Punch” is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary.

She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls—the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish)—to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).

Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey—if they succeed—will set them free.

If I were held against my will with Babydoll and her team, what would I do?
Hmm, this sounds so hard for me to think. Wait, there is sure a way to overcome this.

I don't want to be stuck at that place. It is like creepy situation for whole life

Think Think Think

GOT IT!!!

First of all I am a male and those hot ladies fighting beside me, lolx, that is an encouragement I would say.
Don't they look hot?
They certainly do

Secondly lets get to the correct way of running away or I should I say escaping. A plan is always needed no matter what.
So we got to infiltrate their captor's organisation and attain their blueprint

THE BLUEPRINT

Third, since I've got powers where I dream of things and it sought of come true whether in the dream world or the real world.

Therefore I'll use the power of my brains and mind to control the dream

So I will dream about things which would of course be at an advantage to me so that
EASY ESCAPE MAH

Don't tell me you make your dream harder for you

So that is so logic

Fourth, we gotta get those Five Items we need. Get a paper and write it down like a checklist

This will keep me in the track

Fifth or should I say the last strategy, is none other than teamwork. YES!

Teamwork is always the key towards success

You can have the captors with supreme power and strength or better but with teamwork, escaping from them is as easy as cheesy as ABC :D

Hmm, guess dats all I've got to say. I really want to know more about this movie, it seems very different and I really want to watch.
Okay Nuffnang, I would sleep everyday and try to dream myself in the cinema watching this premiere screening of Sucker Punch and you gotta bring it into reality.
LOLX! Too much of SUCKER PUNCHy things
