Well The Vampire Diaries gets better and better everytime, seriously.
This time it is so darn cool!
Here's a few note to take
1) Klaus has finally found the solution to creating hybrids
2) Stefan has changed completely due to Klaus's compulsion
3) Damon is changing over to the good guy
4) Matt can now see Vicki
5) Catherine and Jeremy has just woke up Michael, the Vampire Hunter
Did ask myself last time, Klaus is like totally invicible, will there be an ending to it and certainly there is, just wondering what this Vampire Hunter has that can kill Klaus and of course who can kill him, lol!
Either way if you still want a full-long summary, here is it
Talk about your action-packed episodes! We begin with our favorite
Mystic Falls High seniors, who have snuck into the school to commit a
few pranks before the start of their senior year—filling a classroom
with mouse traps, gluing Ric’s desk shut, and the like. Their party ends
abruptly, though, when Klaus suddenly appears in the school’s hallowed
halls and grabs Elena. “You are supposed to be dead,” he sneers. “What
are we going to do about that?”
Meanwhile, Katherine and Damon are on their mysterious road trip.
After a decent amount of banter and one extended kiss while
driving—don’t try this at home, kids—Damon stops the car and demands to
know what’s going on. Katherine reveals the necklace she stole and
explains that she took it because she knows Klaus wants it, but not why.
There’s someone who can help her figure that out, though: Jeremy, who
happens to be lying unconscious in the trunk of the car.
Klaus enters the school’s gym with Elena and, playing teacher, orders
the pranking seniors gathered there to scram. All of them, that is, but
two unfortunate souls named Dana and Chad, with whom he decides to have
a bit of fun. He compels Dana to stand on one leg, and tells Chad that
when she can’t hold the pose any longer, he’s to beat her to death.
Soon, the gym’s residents are joined by Tyler—who Rebekah has nabbed
after knocking out Caroline—as well as Matt and Bonnie
Now that the gang’s all here, Klaus can get down to business. He
tells Bonnie that she’s going to have to find a fix for the Case of the
Dying Hybrids, then gives her a good incentive to do so by forcing Tyler
to drink his hybrid blood, then savagely breaking his neck. Bonnie and
Matt run off, ostensibly to fetch her spell casting materials. Once
they’re out, though, Bonnie moans that she doesn’t know what to do. Her
Grimoires don’t have the info she needs, and she’s no longer on speaking
terms with her old dead witch pals. Then Bonnie realizes that she knows
someone who can in fact communicate with the dead: Jeremy…
… who is finally awake. Katherine continues explaining her plan to
Damon. She’s heard tell of a vampire who knows how to kill Klaus, but
his name was never revealed to her. There is, however, a different
vampire who was privy to the secret: Anna, who’s now hanging around as
Jeremy’s friendly ghost pal. After a little persuasion—man, Jeremy might
get beaten up more than anyone but Ric—Ghost Anna tells Jeremy to let
the vampires know that they’re looking for someone named Michael.
Michael is—get this—a vampire who hunts vampires. She warns them that
they’d be crazy to awaken him. This ought to end well
Speaking of crazy: Having removed an implement Rebekah inserted into
his chest, Stefan strolls into the gym and tries to convince Klaus that
he’s still his loyal servant. By now, though, Klaus is wise to
Salvatore’s game. After confirming that Stefan would still do anything
for Elena, Klaus takes extreme measures by compelling Stefan to obey his
commands. Klaus christens the new compelled Stefan by ordering him to
devour Chad and Dana. Poor kids! All they wanted was to TP the pool, and
now they’re dead.
As a horrified Elena watches Stefan drink from her classmates,
Rebekah storms in—thanks to photos on Caroline’s phone, she knows that
Elena’s the one who has her lost necklace. It’s quickly revealed,
though, that Katherine’s the one in possession of it now. “Of course,”
says Klaus, practically rolling his eyes. This puts a wrinkle in his
plan, but he decides to roll with the punches by playing a new game—if
Bonnie can’t succeed in fixing the spell in 20 minutes, Stefan will have
to feed off Elena.
Bonnie, meanwhile, is frantically trying to contact Jeremy. Little
does she know that there’s another person in her midst who might be able
to communicate with the dead: Matt, who’s been seeing and feeling weird
flashes of his sister Vicki all night. After receiving a text message
from beyond the grave—“I can help you, Matty”—Matt comes up with an
extreme plan: If he dies and Bonnie brings him back to life, maybe he’ll
be able to speak with Vicki for real.
All things considered, Matt’s plan goes off without a hitch. He belts
a weight to himself and hops into the pool; Bonnie soon frantically
dives in and pulls his motionless body out. As she performs CPR, the
half-dead Matt’s spirit comes face to face with the specter of his
sister, who reveals that she ha a message from the Original Witch: The
hybrids are dying because the Doppelganger lives. Matt sputters back to
life and tells Bonnie what he’s learned.
The knowledge might have come too late, though. In the gym, Stefan
paces as Elena tells Stefan that Caroline’s dad could resist
compulsion—maybe that means he’ll be able to too. She pleads that he has
to fight, “because after everything we’ve been through, you owe me
that.” When the clock runs down, it seems like he just might be able to
hold back the urge. But the hope is short-lived. Stefan lunges at Elena,
then screams for her to run.
She obliges, and there’s a bit of a chase—Stefan keeps slamming
himself into lockers and walls so he won’t catch up with her, but he
can’t stop pursuing her. And then Klaus appears, observing that the only
thing stronger than Stefan’s craving for blood is his love for Elena.
But all that’s about to change. The vamps scuffle until Klaus finally
looks Stefan in the eye and compels him, saying, “Turn it off!” And then
Klaus asks Stefan if he’d like a drink from the doppelganger’s neck…
and the new, loveless Stefan smirks, gets Ripper eyes, then goes in for
the bite.
The next thing we see is Klaus walking into the science lab, where
Caroline, Tyler and Rebekah are waiting, and informing them that the
doppelganger should be dead now. He offers Tyler a vial of Elena’s
blood, which the dying, transitioning wolf drinks. Tyler collapses and
starts to writhe. This time, the transformation takes: Tyler’s eyes
become wolf-yellow, while his canines become vampire fangs. It seems
that the Original Witch was lying to Klaus all along. She wanted him to
kill the Doppelganger because in truth, only Elena’s blood can complete
the hybrid transformation. Klaus figured out the deception because he
knew how much the Original Witch hated him.
As Klaus is enjoying his victory, Damon appears. The Original is just
about to kill the Salvatore when Damon stops him in his tracks with a
simple question: “Don’t you want to know about your friend Michael?”
Damon tells Klaus that he and Katherine have found the vamp-killing
vamp—and with that, Klaus throws Damon aside and disappears. Damon soon
finds Elena, who has been set upon a cot in the nurse’s room and drained
of a good deal of blood, and carries her home.
Matt gathers his things, ready to leave the school… only to find that
now, he too can see and hear Vicki. This is going to be fun.
At the Salvtore abode, Damon gives Elena bourbon and offers to erase
her awful memories. But she doesn’t want him to compel him. He tries to
cheer her up by showing her the necklace—which he stole back for her—but
all Elena can think about is Stefan. Damon puts the necklace down and,
with a voice full of emotion, promises Elena that he won’t leave her
again. Just then, Ripper Stefan enters the room.
“Well, isn’t this cozy,” he says. He explains that though Klaus is
gone, he’s asked Stefan to keep watch over Damon and/or Elena until he
returns. Uh-oh. Things are about to get very interesting—especially
since Jeremy and Katherine awaken Michael the Hunter just before the
episode comes to a close.
Phew! Next week: Stefan’s a bloodaholic, and a car catches on fire.
What do you think will happen to New Hybrid Tyler? What about that
“darkness” Vicki was carrying with her—is Matt going to become a victim
of it? And most importantly, can anything save Stefan?
