Review: Dawn of The Planets of The Apes

So here I am, trying to clean up the cobwebs on my blog.

Yesterday was an awesome day as I have won 2 tickets to watch Dawn of The Planets of The Apes (OKAY I'm GONNA SHORTEN IT TO DPA since writting the whole thing will be troublesome) from Nuffnang! YAY!

Thank You
NUFFNANG!

Synopsis (NOT GONNA SAY THE WHOLE THING):
So this story is about Caesar from the previous sequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes who is now living in a forest whereas the humans are seen to be in a pretty bad shape after a devastating virus from the Apes which were created in a laboratory spread like wild fire.
Caesar who was once brought up by humans have an affectionate side for humans and he is also siding the apes at the same time. Being the leader of the Apes, he tries to create a culture whereby they live in harmony but however this will not last that long.

Caesar

A faction of the humans living in a nearby town (pretty torn down) were almost out of power. They send their mans into the forest to get the hydro generator working. This is where humans and apes begin to get into contact.

Malcolm - The main human character

This will then slowly develop the relationship between them. Of course nothing will go as smooth since we are talking about a movie directed by Matt Reeves. Conflicts will arise when Koba takes things into his own hands.

Review:

The great thing about this movie is that the director is able to showcase the development of the characters and their relationship in detail. It's like we can almost put ourselves into their shoes easily and understand their thoughts and feelings at that very moment.
We begin to understand the characters and the reason for every action.
It was indeed a great movie and definitely worth watching.

Until Den
