Despite the fact that most of my previous post were not related to ongoing events, I still need to write this no matter what

Yesterday, almost all Malaysians were watching the epic battle between our country's top badminton player Dato Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan from China.
Well as most of already knew, Dato Lee lost to Lin Dan again in the olympics. Yes, it was indeed heartbreaking for many of us as all of us know that it was just a matter of luck and Dato Lee could have won the gold.





But it doesn't really matter if he did win the gold or not, most importantly he has proven to be a champion in all Malaysian's heart. He has shown good sportsmanship which most players were not able to show.
Most of the time, it is hard for us to get every Malaysian to think the same and do something together, but yesterday was a different story.
Dato Lee has brought all of us together into a single hope and goal, the Olympic gold. Every Malaysian was basically cheering for him, whether they were at the Wembley Arena, some outside mamak stall or even at home, it doesn't matter because we were all there for one hope and goal.


That itself was more than what we can ask for. However, there appears to be some people who were furious about the result and put the blame on Dato Lee with negative remarks saying that they could not get free ice creams or holidays.
This people can only say those words because they are not the one standing at the court there in front of million of spectators across the globe and fighting for their country, it is easier said than done.
All I could say is that I feel sorry for this type of people who were not brought up or educated properly, sigh.

No matter what, Dato Lee will always be a hero to our country and a man we will all remember till the very end. Thank you Dato Lee for fighting your way through, you will always be an inspiration to many people
